how long can a model train run at one time?

I got a model train for Christmas… and I wonder how long is too long to run the train…

  1. It really depends what kind of train you have. If you have a battery operated one then you could run that as long as the batteries are good. On the other hand if you have a train with a power pack/transformer then you can run it as long as possible. Either way make sure that everything’s clean on the underside of your train, the wheels should be clean, no hair or lint around the axles, and that the track is clean also.
