railfanning the Model Railroad
By demand, just showing you that the layout hasn’t changed much. Shots taken (in order of appearance) 1. Bruno runs by with a manifest freight 2. Miguel brings in some coaches for a passenger run 3. Geep flies by with a short freight 4. OR ex ATSF F7 takes the coaches from shot 2 and pulls them out. 5. Tony departs from from a stop with a loaded coal train 6. Toby hostles Mack and Frank to the servicing track 7. Mike runs himself in before a commuter run 8. Tony thunders by with an excursion freight train 9. the same train is being heaved up the hill with Miguel dead-heading on the front. 10. Miguel and tony pull to a stop at St. Louis for a scheduled photo-shoot 11. Tony and Miguel prepare for and execute a slow side-by-side runby 12. Miguel gives the crowd a good whistle blow. 13. Tony and Miguel try to pull off a fast side-by-side runby…and it almost goes great. Enjoy

ouch, well good news, none of mine have sound so… we are kind of on the same track, with the expectation that your layout is BIGGER than mine.
and that you go with steam-desiel (or how you spell it) and i go with just STEAM *with the exception of a few desiels.

A bachmann GS-4 4-8-4, a Walthers (or athern) FA-1, bachmann Thomas, and a VERY OLD SW Unit me and my brother restored. I’m guessing it’s at least 40 years old.

Go on ebay!! you can find great deals on everything. One warning though, DONT buy any Rivarossi, there pieces of shit!! If you want a big boy, get the Athern they are about $400.00 and are beautiful!
