Small HO scale train layout
Two HO scale trains running at same time. The 22 car 3 diesil engine frieght train goes around a mountain and over it’s self like the Tehachepi loop. I have since moved to another state ABOUT 1800 miles from previous addy. It is still in sections down in the basement and garage. I have no idea when I will reassemble it again.

Thank you NW34. I hope to have it back up and running in about a year from now. I also plan to make it much larger with 3 trains able to run at the same time.

No ofence cmderbly95. I haven’t installed any of the scenery when I filmed that. I have boxes of ground cover and shrubery and structures. When I moved across 7 states I had to tear it apart and I have not even began to start it back up yet. It will most likely be another year before I even get to it again. But my plans call for a layout that will be about 2 1/2 to 3 times bigger than this one. My plan is to have 3 trains run at the same time.

I liked what you built in a small space; very nice job on the trains here, too! Have you started construction on a new layout yet, or are you still in the planning stage? Best of luck and I hope you’ll share your progress.

Thanks musthavejava. I have some plans in my head but not on paper yet.
I’m starting a different kind of layout for me. I’m going to run a HO train around the wall near the ceiling in my office room. I am working with that right now.

ive done that in bedroom, and have interestingly enough brought it to college with me and put it in my dorm
you would be surprised at how many people want to get into it now

Mine is a 4′X6′ layout. I’m planning to send in an article and a picture about it to Model Railroader

Nice layout! It could use some more trees and vegetation, but otherwise, a really nice one there! Good job getting a lot of action in a small space — shows a lot of good planning on your part. Keep up the good work!

ABSOLUTLY NOT! I have plans to rebuild it and I’m working on just where to set it up. I’m now thinking of the spare room upstairs after we finish with working on some of the other rooms in our house.
